 Is MyDentalCE.com an approved provider in my state?

MyDentalCE.com is a nationally approved ADA CERP and Academy of General Dentistry PACE continuing education provider in all 50 states. In California we are a registered provider since 2012 #5100 and approved to provide al CE courses including the mandated Infection Control. California Dental Practice Act and our newly approved Opioid course for prescribers in California. Also, we are recognized in Ohio & Florida. CLICK HERE for our credentials.

How do I know what my dental board requires for license renewal?

You can check for your state dental board requirements from the link found at the top of the home page of our website. It can be a good idea to call your state board if there are specific questions. CLICK HERE to find your state dental board.

Are your courses "live" online or self-study?

Our courses are self-study and not considered “live”. Each state has different guidelines for how many self-study courses you can take per licensing period, so check with your state dental board. CLICK HERE for your state's CE requirements.

I just registered. Why can't I check out?

If you did not enter a billing address, our system will not let you continue with the registration process or to check out. Try entering a billing address. If this does not work, email our office by email: MyDentalCE@gmail.com for prompt service.

How long do I have to take the course (s)?

Our courses have a 4-month expiration from the date of purchase. If you need more time, no worries. Just send us an email with your order number, and we can reset and extend your order for an additional 4 months. We do this because of frequent upgrades to our course materials.

Where do I find the quiz?

The course online quiz is located throughout the course materials at the beginning in the instructions and near the end of the course in RED BOXES that are clearly marked. Your results and course completion certificates are sent by email immediately.

Why can’t I access the quiz?

It is likely a pop-up blocker. Check your settings for pop-ups and or security settings.

Is the quiz difficult?

The quiz is not meant to be difficult. The quiz questions were designed to evaluate mastery of the stated learning objectives and a knowledge of the most important parts of a course. You have 5 chances to pass the quiz. Need assistance? We are happy to help:  CEsupport@mydentalce.com


How often do I need to have an OSHA review course? HIPAA?

The Department of Labor / OSHA requires annual training of all staff in a healthcare or dental setting. Health & Human Services requires a HIPAA review annually. We have various versions for different staff levels of responsibility. Need more information? MyDentalCE@gmail.com.


Does the dentist or front office staff need the OSHA / HIPAA annual review?

Yes. Our OSHA / HIPAA annual review course is suitable for clinical and non-clinical staff. The course for clinical staff for a license renewal is Infection Control OSHA Focus. This course also is considered an annual review of OSHA topics.

Do you send certificates to state boards for license renewal?

No, you are responsible to send completion certificates for your licensing requirements. We do send the Academy of General Dentistry members course completions to AGD on a monthly basis.

How do I order for my group or office?

One person orders for a group. There is no need for staff to create accounts or log-n. You simply provide the course files to staff. Is a good idea for staff to use the office email for the quiz so the certificates of completion end up in the business office. Any changes to an account need to be made through our office to keep all accounts safe.

How do I give the group order courses to our staff?

You can forward the course files to staff via email. Staff needs the order number to take the quiz. Have staff use the office email address so the certificates end up in your office.
Staff can also view on an office computer. Or they can do the course on their own devices. Staff needs the order number for the quiz. Quizzes submitted without the order number are invalid.

What if I need more courses for additional staff?

Please place a new order or call our office. Make sure staff has the new order number for the quiz. We monitor all use of courses on a daily basis. Please remember, course overages are billed at full price due to staff time to manage overage issues. Thank you for helping us keep costs low.

Can I get copies of my certificates? How long do you keep them?

Please save / print your certificates of completion as you complete them. We keep your records for a minimum of 6 years. We can provide PDF copies with a written request by email: CEsupport@mydentalce.com. We need up to 3 business days to process certificate copy requests—although we usually get them out  faster.

Is it safe to use my credit card to order? Is my personal information secure?

By policy, we do not handle credit card information. Encrypted third parties protect all payment information. Any refund is made to the original form of payment.

Can I swap in different courses if I don't need all that are in a package?

Yes, make your purchase, then send us an email with the courses you would prefer (within a credit or two). Happy to make adjustments to packages.

Can you create custom packages for individuals or groups?

Yes. Please call our office so we can create a custom package to suit your particular needs.
